"Whereas the Faculty delivers the mission of UVA by creating knowledge through research and scholarship, disseminating this knowledge through teaching and publication, and helping the world use this knowledge to be better;

Whereas in an April 28 resolution the Faculty Senate affirmed its support of President Ryan’s leadership and vision; and

Whereas the UVA Board of Visitors’ primary duty is to the Commonwealth of Virginia;
